Bali Kite Jewelry is designed by Andreas Ågren (with the occasional advice from Balinese kitemakers) and in co-operation with I Made Megayasa of Adi Putra Silver Collection, a fifth generation silver smith and one of the many small artisan silversmiths in Celuk Village, Bali.

Celuk Village is  located along the street of Jalan Raya Celuk just between north Denpasar and Sukawati, on the way to Ubud. It is famous for its silver & gold handicrafts, in particular jewelry. There are many silver & gold galleries lining on both sides of the street.

Most of the artists have been trained since young as it is an art passed down from one generation to the next. Thus, their skills and craftsmanship is of international level.

The ownership of Bali Kite Jewelry by BAKCEX has been transferred to the Tri Hita Karana Foundation. The Tri Hita Karana Foundation is registered in Indonesian Government (under Minister of Law and Human Rights, No.: AHU-3278.AH.01.04 Year 20/01/00). All commercial rights have been transferred from BAKCEX to Tri Hita Karana.
