Small Bebean pendant, Sanur style Bebean.

The front and the back of the pendant are different, showing the actual  sides of a Bebean kite. The backside shows the bamboo structure. The Sanur style Bebean has a square shaped graphic in the centre (instead of stripes from top to bottom) and the front edges of the wings are slanted straight till they meet the curved bow (instead of being concavely curved from leading edge).

The word Bebean means 'fish', so the kite swims in the sky in a gentle figure-of-eight movement. That is why the all the Bebean jewellery is tilted and not straight.
